My name is Alan, and I started collecting sneakers when I was 13 years old. Grew up in a small town about 45 miles away from San Francisco, one of the best sneaker cities in the world. Upon my travels I figured out rather quickly it was a difficult task to find sneaker spots by utilizing search engines. This was the primary reason we figured this would do the sneaker community massive amounts of good by providing knowledge about areas you have never been before.

Born and raised in San Francisco, Ca I will never forget growing up through the 90’s and in my opinion the Golden Age of footwear. I grew up playing basketball so I was heavily influenced by what my favorite players were wearing on the court. I was raised being taught it wasn’t about the shoes but about the player. To this day I still own my first pair of Jordan’s which were the Original Red and White Jordan 13s as a reminder to never forget where you came from. Hopefully one day someone finds and buys their first pair of favorite shoes utilizing Staylaced.com!!
